The salty mountains may be cold already now that this time of year has rolled on by, so let’s make sure the Depot is humid and musty just for one night. Our neon-green fever dream is finally here! And on Saturday, November 22nd the one and only Shrek Rave is rolling through town for a night of magical Shrekiness — and trust us, this isn’t your average night at the boring clubs in town. This is certified chaos with an internet-born frenzy of fans who love when the fairytale meets the bass drops in unison. Where ogres and donkeys are your dance partners for the night, and where the only rule is: it’s dumb, it’s fun, and you better let loose.
For the uninitiated — Shrek Rave started as a meme and spiraled into a full-blown national tour, packing out rooms across the country with diehard fans, costumed chaos, and swampy energy like no other. Think thumping EDM, absurd visuals, green strobe lights, and a crowd that knows every word to “All Star.” This is where nostalgia collides with rave culture — one moment you’re hearing a remix of “I’m a Believer,” the next you’re deep in a trap drop with smoke cannons firing.
